After dominance for almost the entirety of H1 from one name, September saw a new entry atop the overall rankings for the most-watched Twitch teams for the second time in three months. There was also the appearance of a new squad in the top three, aided by a recent global tournament that is counted among the most anticipated annually.
The most-watched Twitch team last month was Mythic Talent, which consists of talents like zackrawrr, Caseoh, and sodapoppin. The team saw a rise of 10% in its monthly watch time, aided by the likes of Tectone (193%) and Shylily (88%) witnessing significant jumps in their month-on-month HW figures. One game that benefitted from the team was 60 Seconds! Reatomized, which saw a 101% spike in its September watch time thanks to Caseoh taking special interest in it.
Second is The International, the group of dota2ti channels that provide official broadcasts for the biggest Dota 2 event of the year. Apart from the Chinese channel, it also operates livestreaming accounts in English, Spanish, and Russian, thus catering to a large portion of the game's global audience.
The usual topper, Loaded, could only finish third this time around after witnessing a 26% fall in its MoM watch time. It was joined by OTK (in the seventh spot) as the only other Twitch team to see its monthly HW figure see red on this top ten leaderboard.
Another Twitch team to see a massive increment in September was FaZe, whose members went on a month-long subathon, helping its MoM watch time explode by 258%. This non-stop broadcasting exercise was a huge success, helping the FaZe Clan members earn $12 million and putting JasonTheWeen as the number one most-subbed Asian Twitch creator.
GG Talent Group, G FUEL, and INSIGHT maintained their positions as top ten players, but two other teams were benefactors of another prominent event in September. Team Liquid and Echo made it the rare occasion of multiple esports organizations making this overall list thanks to their lengthy live streams of the Race to World First: Nerub'ar Palace raid event in World of Warcraft's latest expansion, The War Within.
The first new name on this table is FOKUS, consisting of numerous prominent German-speaking content creators like eliasn97 and KubaFPS. There were also entries like ZETA DIVISION, LOUD, Sentinels, and TSM who retained their positions here, although only the Brazilian squad was able to see green in terms of MoM watch time.
There was also Spacestation Gaming, whose creators were busy covering various video games. The leader was Jynxzi, whose content — mostly focused on Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege — generated almost 28 times more watch time than any other influencer on the team.
The last name to get a mention is Northern Gaming, which jumped in its monthly HW numbers by 458%. This Canadian organization that had a European Rocket League team was also aided by the Race to World First: Nerub'ar Palace raid event, as many of its influencers spent their time playing the legendary MMORPG.
Four of the top ten talent agencies made the overall list, and it was joined by the only VTubing name here, VShojo. The company witnessed a 140% increase in its monthly watch time thanks to its top streamer ironmouse, whose annual charity subathon ran across September and made her the most subscribed Twitch creator of all time.
There were also other familiar names like aNc, SIDEQUEST, 1UP, and UTA, with the last name reclaiming its top-ten spot after missing out in the August rankings to East European squads. This table also had a new entry in the form of European talent agency Level Up, which hit 6.7M HW thanks to its sole active creator Maximum streaming a lot of the abovementioned WoW expansion event's raid.
