The organizers of the Spanish media football league Kings League have announced the expansion of their franchise. In 2024, they plan to launch a similar league in Latin America. There are few details yet, but it is already known that the matches will take place in Mexico. Streams Charts has decided to speculate on which streamers could become ambassadors for the league in the new region.
Kings League is rightly considered one of the main Twitch phenomena in 2023. This joint project by former professional footballers and top streamers from Spain immediately became one of the most popular sports shows on the platform. Football stars such as Ronaldinho, Andriy Shevchenko, Gerard Piqué, Iker Casillas, Sergio Agüero, and others have become participants and guests of the Kings League. The official Kings League channel on Twitch can already boast over 1.1 million Peak Viewers. The league is also covered by top Spanish-speaking streamers on their personal channels: ibai, TheGrefg, DjMariiO, and others.
Original Kings League features two top streamers from Latin America — Rivers_gg from Mexico and Juan Guarnizo from Colombia. They are ambassadors for PIO FC and Aniquiladores FC teams. They are likely to continue competing in the main league, so we did not include them in the article about Kings LATAM.
Who would be a good fit for Kings LATAM
CH14 (Javier Hernández Balcázar)
When discussing possible ambassadors for Kings LATAM, it is hard to find a more suitable candidate than Javier Hernández Balcázar, also known by his nickname Chicharito. This 35-year-old footballer, and the best forward in the history of the Mexican national team, is currently the captain of Los Angeles Galaxy. However, Balcázar is also well-known in the streaming community. He has been streaming on Twitch for a long time and has already accumulated over 920K followers on his CH14 channel.
Most often, Balcázar plays Call of Duty: Warzone or interacts with fans in the Just Chatting category during his streams. He also pays attention to titles such as Minecraft and FIFA. It is unknown whether Chicharito will continue his football career in 2024, but even as a guest for one game, he would undoubtedly add value to the Kings LATAM broadcast.
ElSpreen (Iván Buhajeruk)
The organizers of Kings LATAM would certainly be thrilled to have ElSpreen as their ambassador, who is the most popular streamer in Argentina. In the first half of 2023, this 22-year-old guy amassed over 25 million Hours Watched and set a personal record for Peak Viewers, with over 442K viewers watching his stream from the Squid Craft 2 event concurrently.
Most often, ElSpreen plays Minecraft and interacts with viewers in Just Chatting. He also streams various other titles such as Rust, Roblox, GTA V, and more. In the past, he hasn't streamed any football or sports-related content, but as we know, it is not a mandatory requirement for the Kings League show format.
Davoo Xeneize (David Quint)
Argentina has a rich football history and culture, and the country is home to many popular streamers for whom football serves as a source of inspiration and content creation tool. One of them is Davoo Xeneize, a popular Argentine streamer who has over 1.3 million followers on Twitch.
Primarily, Davoo Xeneize holds streams in the Just Chatting category, but he almost always discusses football during his broadcasts. He follows both the local Argentine league and championships in other countries. He discusses football news, transfers, conducts match analysis, and more. In June, his Average Viewers number during streams reached around 14.3K, with the Peak Viewers number of 47K for his channel.
LACOBRAAA (Lautaro Del Campo)
LACOBRAAA is another popular streamer from Argentina whose content revolves around football. Like Davoo Xeneize, he provides match reviews, discusses transfers, interviews professional footballers and coaches with his viewers. Another point in favor of LACOBRAAA's candidacy is the fact that he had a joint stream with ibai, one of the co-founders of Kings League, in June.
In the first half of 2023, LACOBRAAA accumulated around 5 million Hours Watched and reached 24.4K Peak Viewers. His Twitch channel has almost 610K followers. There may be more popular streamers from LATAM on the platform, but it's unlikely that there is a bigger fan of Lionel Messi on Twitch than LACOBRAAA.
Coscu (Martin Perez Di Salvo)
Coscu would be a great find for Kings LATAM, as he is another popular streamer from Argentina. This guy is willing to go to great lengths to entertain his audience. For example, he participated in a boxing show match at the La Velada Del Año III event organized by ibai, where he emerged victorious against Chilean singer and YouTuber Germán Garmendia.
In December 2022, Coscu hosted the Coscu Army Awards ceremony, where he recognized the achievements of the most popular streamers and influencers from Argentina. Overall, Coscu knows how to captivate an audience. He takes care of his health, enjoys participating in sports, and even plays football with other streamers. His Twitch channel has over 3.8 million followers, and he has reached 426K Peak Viewers.
WestCol (Luis Villa)
WestCol is a popular streamer and rapper from Colombia who could become an ambassador for Kings LATAM. This stylish and flamboyant guy loves working the crowd and has a great respect for sports, particularly football. For instance, in June, he participated in a show match between the Spanish and Latin American national football teams, organized by DjMariiO.
WestCol started his streaming career on Twitch, where he has amassed 1.2 million followers and has reached 162K PV. In April 2023, he switched to Kick and is now one of the most popular content creators on the new platform. Mostly, WestCol conducts conversational streams in Just Chatting, engages with guests, participates in entertainment events and shows, and occasionally plays popular titles like Minecraft, Call of Duty, and more.
Dylantero (Dylan Silva)
Popular Chilean streamer Dylantero would be a great find for the Kings LATAM league as well. He has a great sense of humor and an interesting style of interacting with his audience. Additionally, Dylantero is not indifferent to football – he also played for the Latin American national team in a show match organized by DjMariiO.
