Between the 23rd and 30th of September, Brazilian Twitch streamer Cellbit hosted three streams of Paranormal Order: Quarantine, bringing in some other streamers to support the event. The streams were hugely popular not only in relation to Cellbit’s usual content but compared to Twitch content for that week as a whole.
Paranormal Order is a fictional universe created by Cellbit to host tabletop RPG sessions as a recurring series for his channel. Paranormal Order Quarantine was a special two-shot run of the RPG and was different from the usual content hosted by Cellbit, as it was presented in English due to the international line-up of its cast. Cellbit acted as the GM for the session, joined by fellow compatriot Pac from TazerCraft, two Mexican creators Quackity and Roier, American creator Foolish_Gamers, and Swiss streamer BagheraJones.

None of the cast members for the show went live for the event, so all eyes were on Cellbit’s stream for the nights. Usually a Brazillian creator, the special run of Paranormal Order was a good chance for Cellbit to be exposed to an international audience. The event proved a success, as it became Cellbit’s most popular Twitch stream ever.
Paranormal Order: Quarantine Viewership
Of the three streams that were hosted for the campaign, 2 were hosted on the 23rd of September, divided by a short intermission to allow the cast a break, and a final stream on the 30th of September. Of these three streams, the first was the most popular as 215K fans tuned in to watch the campaign concurrently.
Across all three broadcasts, the campaign was live for just over 12 hours. During this time, Cellbit amassed 1.48M hours of watch time, and his broadcast on the 30th of September became his third-most-watched broadcast ever, with 698K Hours Watched. Cellbit’s first broadcast on the 23rd was not only his most popular broadcast by Peak Viewers but also recorded the highest average concurrent viewers figure in Cellbit’s streaming career: 165K Average Viewers.
According to our system’s assessment, the three streams for the Quarantine campaign reached an estimated audience of over 1.2M unique viewers. Although the initial stream recorded the highest Estimated Audience (476K), the final stream of the campaign experienced the highest amount of Live Views, which clocked in at just over 2.2M.
As we looked at in the article we created last week for Cellbit’s Quarantine campaign, the Paranormal Order: Quarantine campaign was the most popular stream for Cellbit by Peak Viewers. However, there are some new streams to add to the list now.
The first Quarantine campaign stream remains the most popular broadcast by Cellbit with 215K Peak Viewers recorded. However, the other two broadcasts for the same campaign also rank 4th and 5th. Cellbit’s RPG content has been some of his most popular content since he began creating and designing his own universe, but it's clear now that the two-shot special campaign was his most popular content ever.
The Quarantine campaign was likely his most popular stream due to multiple factors. Firstly, the cast for this event was star-studded and combined they have almost 12M Twitch Followers, excluding Cellbit. With 12M potential fans ready to tune in to support their favourite creator, the potential for this special campaign was always high.
Secondly, although Cellbit’s core audience is clearly Portuguese-speaking, a special event hosted in English may have opened the door for Cellbit to tap into a more international and global audience. Although this effect wouldn’t be felt in the long run when Cellbit returns to Portuguese-language broadcasts, it provides a solid short-term boost to the Brazillian’s viewership. Short-term boosts can be profitable too, as according to our database Cellbit received over 7K new subscriptions on the 23rd of September.
Cellbit’s special Paranormal Order: Quarantine was his most popular content ever. The Brazillian branched out into English-speaking audiences and showcased his wonderful RPG and GM talent to the world. Cellbit’s venture into the English-speaking side of Twitch was not only profitable in terms of viewership, but also just profitable. The Brazillian streamer’s hard work saw direct compensation as fans from Mexico, the United States, and Europe all flocked to his broadcast to support the stream.
