In August, streamers from YouTube continued to pair up with video game developers and publishers to promote either new titles or existing ones. This also meant that quite a few fresh faces made their presence felt to the live-streaming community, although one fixture in such lists continued his streak of appearances.

Twitch, meanwhile, continued to witness partnerships between big-name brands associated with esports and content creators. Drops also remained a crucial feature of this promotional activity, with the top five leaderboard below containing prominent influencers who are known to be associated with particular games/companies.

Streams Charts' standardized approach considers sponsorship integrations mentioned in the stream title by the streamers. Moreover, our statistics reflect the specific segment during the broadcast when the brand collaboration happened and the entire broadcast's statistics if the whole stream was sponsored.

The most-watched sponsored stream is Pestily from August 23, with this collaboration with Gamer Supps hitting 1.42M Hours Watched. The latter is a gaming energy and nutrition brand offering esports athletes and gamers the most effective and healthy energy choice to help them perform to their highest potential. The two parties introduced a collection of 'waifu cups and shirts' bearing the Australian influencer's branding, with this broadcast being part of a six-day Escape from Tarkov subathon that coincided with the latest Twitch Drops event for the game's summer wipe.

Did you know Streams Charts has numerous functionalities that include in-depth live streaming analytics not only for individual broadcasts and channels but for entire platforms? It also has nuanced features like viewer retention rates, viewer geolocations, measuring engagement rates, and performance of branded content. Next is Jynxzi, who hosted another edition of his self-labeled Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege 'World Cup' sponsored by G FUEL, another renowned gaming and esports energy drinks company. It involved numerous streamers from eight countries banding together to claim the ultimate international bragging rights, helping this August 16 broadcast do 583K HW. France, defending its crown after winning the May iteration, was knocked out in the first round by England in quite the upset, with the finals going the distance before the United States beat Sweden to emerge as the new world champion, much to the hosts' delight.

LVNDMARK is third as his August 24 live-stream advertised his official merch, including jerseys and hats, and offered viewers Twitch Drops. This came from the same Escape from Tarkov Summer Event mentioned above, with the popular online star's broadcast registering 581.2K HW. Many felt that these rewards, typically reserved for the year-end wipe and containing some top-tier loot, were made available to lure players back after The Unheard Edition controversy from earlier this year.

Caedrel and his coverage of the LEC Season Finals 2024 Lower Bracket Semifinal between Team BDS and G2 Esports come next. Live broadcast in partnership with Polish wall art company Displate on August 23, this match reached 528.2K HW. Interestingly, the English streamer joined Fnatic as the official caster for its League of Legends games, and he repaid that faith by ending the season as one of the most popular broadcasters overall for the European League of Legends circuit.

Lastly, we have SnuffyFluffy, who also had Twitch Drops enabled during his playthroughs of the popular multiplayer survival and adventure game Rust. A Thompson skin was available to his viewers, which helped this August 8 live-stream record 422.7K HW, aided by the fact that he was online for almost two whole days.

Second is ItsFunneh, who promoted LEGO Tycoon: Tilted Towers, an island where players can create, strategize, and defend in an exciting LEGO version of the popular Fortnite Battle Royale location. This August 30 gameplay stream that witnessed the streamer and his friends build the mega tower in Lego Fortnite registered 14K HW.

Next is Typical Gamer, a well-known gaming influencer who advertised the new first-person hero shooter game, Concord, from Sony Interactive Entertainment. This August 24 live stream hit 13.5K HW, with the Canadian megastar sharing the link for viewers to pre-order the new game's Digital Deluxe Edition and receive Early Access.

Ghost4Rider is fourth as he played and promoted the newest update in Fortnite, Chapter 5 Season 4. This August 16 broadcast received 10.1K HW as he dived into the latest season of the game, labeled Absolute Doom. It sees players suit up to drive back the Marvel Comics supervillain and his legions of loyal henchmen.

Promoting Star Wars: Outlaws helped Darkness429 finish in the fifth spot among YouTubers after recording 9K HW. Live streamed on Aug 26, it was done in association with meat sticks brands Chomps, who partnered with the American streamer to bring out a range of products with 'zero sugar and plenty of protein.'
