The first month of summer 2021 has gone, and Streams Charts continues to summarize June streaming results. In this article, our analytical service will tell you which esports club communities became the most popular on Twitch in June 2021.
Disclaimer. The rating is based on the sum of hours that viewers have spent on streamers’ broadcasts during the month. Esports viewership stats are not included.
Luminosity Gaming continues to lead the monthly Twitch top of Esports teams. And this is despite the fact that the team's Hours Watched fell by 37% compared to May and amounted to 29.4M. The sharp decline can be explained by a viewership decrease of the organization's main streamer: Felix “xQc” Lengel's Hours Watched fell by 42%, but amounted to 74% of Luminosity number in June.
NRG Esports moved up from third place to second place in June. The team's Hours Watched decreased by 13% to 18.1M. Sodapoppin is still the most popular content maker for NRG — 5.9M Hours Watched (1/3 of the community's indicator).
TSM closed the top 3. Community’s Hours Watched were down by 18% (17M), when TSM_ImperialHal remained the team's most watched streamer. A month earlier, he bypassed GM Hikaru Nakamura.
The top 5 also included FaZe Clan and Cloud9, and the difference between them was less than 300K Hours Watched. FaZe indicator decreased by 23%, when Cloud9 number practically didn’t change in comparison with May.
In June, T1 left the top 5 and took only sixth place. In total, the team lost a little over 1M HW. Team Liquid, LOUD and DeToNator took 7-9 places, their HW ranged from 9.2 to 9.5M. G2 Esports closed the top 10 — the team lost 15% compared to May, generated almost 8.2M HW.
