TSM, T1, G2 — most popular Twitch esports communities in May 2021

TSM, T1, G2 — most popular Twitch esports communities in May 2021
Share:

Streams Charts continues to summarize Twitch results of the previous month. In this article we will reveal which communities of esports clubs were the most watched on platform in May 2021.

Disclaimer. The rating is based on the sum of hours that viewers have spent on streamers’ broadcasts during the month. Esports viewership stats are not included.

Luminosity Gaming continues to hold the first place in the rating for several months in a row. During May, viewers spent over 47M hours watching broadcasts of the organization's streamers, which is 23% more than in April. Traditionally, Felix "xQc" Lengel has made the biggest impact — 82% of the Luminosity total number belongs to him. In addition to xQc, only four out of Luminosity streamers gained over a million Hours Watched in May: ShivFPS (2.6M), elded (1.7M), NickEh30 (1.1M) and Fresh (1M).

TSM regained their second place in the rating (in April, the club was third). Last month, TSM_ImperialHal removed Grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura from the position of the most watched streamer of the team — 3.2M Hours Watched versus 2.6M.

NRG Esports rounded out the top 3. In April, the club's streamers ranked fourth, but in May their total Hours Watched grew by 13%. Sodapoppin remains the club's most watched streamer with 4.5M Hours Watched, but we can not highlight NRG's content maker aceu, who has reached 150% HW increase (almost 2.6M) since April.

The fourth place went to FaZe Clan, who were second in April. The fifth line is occupied by the newcomers of the rating — T1. At the end of April, the marvelous loltyler1 finally joined the organization's community on Twitch, with whom the club has been cooperating since October 2020. Thanks to an extraordinary content maker, T1 generated 13.3M Hours Watched, 65% of which were contributed by loltyler1 viewers.

In the second part of the rating, there are practically no changes: the Brazilian streamer community LOUD took the sixth place (12.4M Hours Watched). Next come Cloud9 (12.3M), Team Liquid (10.3M) and G2 Esports (9.8M). Closed the top 10 Japanese multi-gaming DeToNator (9.7M).
