November turned out to be a packed month on Twitch. The platform was buzzing with ARC Raiders and Escape From Tarkov, the launch of Fortnite’s new Chapter drew massive attention, and both Spanish and German creators ran large-scale Minecraft marathons.

In November, Twitch generated a total of 1.376 billion hours of watch time, about a 2% increase compared to the previous month. Most other metrics saw only minor changes, but one stood out in a big way: Peak Channels. The number of Peak Channels on Twitch surged by 38% in November, an unusual spike driven by major seasonal events in Escape From Tarkov and Fortnite.

In Twitch’s ranking of the most popular categories, ARC Raiders and Escape From Tarkov stood out with impressive growth. Both titles broke into the top three, jumping 14 and 39 spots, respectively.
ARC Raiders had an impressive debut. In November, the new extraction shooter finally received a full month of data, giving a clearer and more accurate picture of its performance.
Escape From Tarkov also saw a major milestone: after years of testing, the game officially launched in mid-November. The release was supported by a series of in-game events, Twitch Drops campaigns, and other promotions, including the Escape from Beta event on Twitch Rivals.
Fortnite also deserves a special highlight. Epic Games’ battle royale delivered an outstanding peak-channel performance. On November 29, the Chapter 7 Live Event went live, and more than 84,400 streamers broadcast it simultaneously. That’s the highest Peak Channel number the Fortnite category has reached in 2025.

Among the most popular game genres on Twitch, Shooters saw a major surge in November. Total hours watched jumped from 377.8 million to 458.9 million, fueled largely by the hype around ARC Raiders and Escape From Tarkov.
The Simulator and MMO genres also benefited from this momentum, posting noticeable gains. Meanwhile, Adventure and Strategy dipped slightly compared to October.

The most-watched Twitch streamers in November were Tony “LVNDMARK” and Paul “Pestily” Licari. Both creators spent the month streaming Escape From Tarkov almost nonstop, running Twitch Drops campaigns and each surpassing 10 million Hours Watched.
Japanese streamer Junichi “kato_junichi0817” Kato and American creator TheBurntPeanut also pulled strong numbers thanks to extensive ARC Raiders coverage. Canadian streamer Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek devoted a lot of airtime to the new extraction shooter as well, securing the No. 10 spot in the overall rankings.

The year’s biggest League of Legends tournament was also featured on the Riot Games and Ibai “ibai” Llanos channels, both of which ranked high in peak viewership as well.
French streamer Mohamed “aminematue” Mahmoud claimed the No. 2 spot in November. He hosted a charity event, Stream For Humanity, featuring numerous popular creators. On the final day, aminematue, and other streamers played a football show match, which attracted over 363,000 Peak Viewers.

Emily Beth “Emiru” Schunk continues to lead the rankings for female Twitch streamers, though her competition was stronger than ever this month. Rounding out the top three were cameliaaa92 and Natal'ya “GENSYXA” Berdnikova. All three primarily streamed in the Just Chatting category. Emiru hosted several collabs, including a Paintball session with her OTK teammates. Cameliaaa92 gained attention with a popular talk show on her channel, while GENSYXA drew a big audience with a cooking stream alongside her former boyfriend Vadim “Evelone” Kozakov.
Beyond the top three, the rankings for female streamers were tightly packed. The gap between fourth and tenth place was under 1,000 AV. All of these streamers are familiar faces, consistently appearing in various Twitch rankings.
