The third edition of one of the most sought-after awards in the Hispanic streaming industry has been announced, and fans are excited to see which content creators walk away as the best this time around. On December 13, TheGrefg told viewers around the world via a live stream that the Premios ESLAND 2024 will take place on February 17, 2024, in Andorra.
For those unaware, the word ESLAND is a communion of three words — Spain, Latin America, and Andorra — as it celebrates the creativity and talent of the best content creators of the Spanish-speaking community. With the first two award shows held in Barcelona and Mexico City, only one of these three regions remained, and the popular broadcaster has now confirmed that the chain of events will be completed in the new year.
During the first edition at the Palau de la Música Catalana, 17 awards were presented, with nominees including the likes of Ibai, Auronplay, JuansGuarnizo, Rubius, and IamCristinini. The next iteration emanated from the Auditorio Nacional and saw 18 gongs on offer, with popular musicians Lola Indigo and Jhay Cortez performing and adding to the spectacle.
Regarding the 2024 show, the venue and ticket details have not been disclosed, although they should be out soon. What fans can be sure of is the function happening against the backdrop of a white carpet, thanks to the ski slopes of the Andorran landscapes.
What else happened at the Premios ESLAND 2023?
Last year's function saw Ibai win big, as he took home a second straight Streamer of the Year gong while his boxing tournament La Velada del Año II won Event of the Year. The Spaniard has been one of Twitch's biggest streamers for years, and he continues to be a trendsetter with events like the Kings and Queens leagues that continue to attract millions of viewers in the Hispanic community and have even expanded to the Americas and LATAM regions.
Another consecutive winner was Kidi, who was bestowed the IRL Streamer of the Year award. G2 Esports ' Jelty, a Fortnite player, clinched the Esports Player of the Year gong, while Gerard Romero came out on top in the Best Reporting and Clip of the Year category.
Broadcast exclusively on TheGrefg's channel, this ceremony collected more than 9.1M Hours Watched and 1.4M Average Viewers in 6.5 hours on air. It also reached over 1.75M Peak Viewers, improving by 64%, while it did better by 148% and 122% in the former two metrics.
The Premios ESLAND 2023 live broadcast also became the second most popular Twitch broadcast on the highly-followed influencer's channel by Peak Viewers. It also remains his most-watched livestream so far (by Hours Watched), sitting 122.3% higher than any of his other broadcasts.
