Top Spanish Streamers of 2025

Top Spanish Streamers of 2025

Spanish creators remain one of the most influential forces within the broader Spanish-speaking ecosystem of livestreaming. Time and again, it’s streamers from Spain who introduce new formats, experiment with large-scale events and push creative boundaries in ways that keep audiences engaged while quietly reshaping the platform’s wider content landscape.

That influence shows up in the numbers. Year after year, Spain plays a central role in Twitch’s biggest viewership moments, from massive creator-led tournaments to record-setting events and the explosive rise of media football as a mainstream livestreaming phenomenon. What starts locally often ends up setting benchmarks for the entire platform.

In 2025, another shift became impossible to ignore. Multistreaming gained momentum, lifting some creators to new heights while pushing several long-established Spanish stars, who once dominated these rankings, outside the top ten. With the balance of power changing, it’s time to take a closer look at who truly defined Spanish livestreaming last year.

Sitting comfortably at the top of the ranking, and separated from the rest by an enormous gap, is Ibai “ibai” Llanos. By now, Ibai is no longer just Spain’s biggest streamer. He is a full-scale livestreaming institution whose audience extends far beyond the Spanish-speaking world. Whether he is covering esports events involving his own organization, Movistar KOI, or broadcasting matches from the Kings League and its spin-offs, tens of thousands of viewers tune in as a baseline.

In 2025, however, Ibai once again reached a level that few creators can even realistically aspire to. His boxing mega-event La Velada del Año delivered unprecedented engagement, peaking at an astonishing 9.3 million concurrent viewers. That single broadcast cemented Ibai as the most popular individual creator of all time and pushed Twitch itself to an all-time platform record of over 14 million live viewers, briefly narrowing the gap with YouTube at the very top of global livestreaming.

A telling footnote to the year: even if Ibai had streamed nothing else in 2025 beyond La Velada del Año 5, he still would have finished as Spain’s most-watched streamer by a wide margin.

Second place belongs to the clearest multistreaming success story in Spain: Mario “DjMaRiiO” Garrido. Broadcasting simultaneously across Twitch, YouTube and Kick, DjMaRiiO has built his entire content ecosystem around football in all its forms. From real-world football through the Kings League, where he is directly involved, to football simulators like EA Sports FC, his streams sit squarely at the intersection of Spain’s two greatest audience drivers: football and live entertainment. In a year where multistreaming increasingly reshaped the rankings, no Spanish creator benefited from that shift more consistently than DjMaRiiO.

Rounding out the top three is one of Spanish streaming’s most interesting late-career stories. Sergio “knekro” Maroto, a long-established veteran and former esports professional, arguably reached his true peak in 2025. Now 41, knekro is also part of Movistar KOI and took over a central role in co-casting the LEC, where the organization competes, stepping into a position previously held by Ibai himself.

That increased esports focus translated directly into stronger live numbers and lifted him into the year’s top tier. His rise is yet another reminder that top-level esports coverage remains one of the most reliable engines for sustained viewership growth.

Beyond the podium, the rest of the ranking is filled with familiar names to any Spanish audience. The majority are Twitch-first creators whose content leans heavily toward gaming, resonating strongly with younger viewers. At the same time, the overall mix among the top streamers remains broad. IRL broadcasts, casual gaming, esports co-streams, and football-driven formats all coexist near the top, underlining just how diverse Spain’s livestreaming scene has become.
