Top United States & Canada streamers of 2025
Share:

North America is home to some of the world’s top content creators. Streamers here don’t just pull massive audiences, they build full-on entertainment experiences with new shows and formats. From Kai Cenat’s Streamer University and Darren "IShowSpeed" Watkins Jr. travel adventures to Hasan "HasanAbi" Piker’s political commentary, plenty of North American content dominated livestreaming in 2025

As competition in the industry heats up, staying at the top requires more creativity than ever. In this article, we’ll break down the most-watched streamers from the United States and Canada in 2025.

Note: This article will be updated with final numbers and ranking positions in early 2026.

#10 Nick “Lacy” Fosco

Landing in tenth place this year is Nick “Lacy” Fosco, a popular U.S. streamer who climbed into Twitch’s top ranks in just a few short years. Lacy first made a name for himself streaming Fortnite, but his content has since grown far beyond Epic Games’ battle royale. These days, he travels often, produces IRL streams about his everyday life, and appears in a variety of entertainment shows and collaborative streamer projects.

In 2025, Lacy took part in a wide range of major events, including Streamer Games, The Streamer Awards, TwitchCon, and more. He became a key figure in FaZe Clan’s streaming ecosystem, hosting broadcasts like FaZe Gaming Night, FaZe Valentine’s Day, the FaZe 4th of July Party, FaZe Subathon, FaZegiving, and several other club-led events and show tournaments.

Throughout the year, Lacy teamed up with many well-known streamers on air, including Brittany “Cinna” Lynn Watts, Kylie “Sketch” Cox, Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter, and Cody “Clix” Conrod.

This year, Lacy’s streams generated over 44.6 million hours watched. He also set a new personal record for peak viewership: on August 27, his broadcast drew 110,865 concurrent viewers. The spike came on the fourth day of a hardcore Minecraft marathon he was streaming alongside Marlon “Marlon” Lundgren Garcia.

#9 Adin Ross

For the second year in a row, Adin Ross holds the ninth spot in our ranking of the most-watched streamers from the United States and Canada. By the end of 2025, his Kick streams generated a little over 48.5 million hours watched. Adin remains the most-watched American streamer on Kick and one of the platform’s key ambassadors.

In 2025, Adin Ross stuck to his signature formula, hosting numerous collab streams with celebrities and top creators. He went live with Jake Paul, Drake, Félix “xQc” Lengyel, Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson, Darryl Dwayne “DDG” Granberry Jr., and many other stars across the Just Chatting and IRL categories.Read more: MrBeast joins Kick, will host fundraising livestream with xQc and Adin Ross

Just like last year, he streamed frequently under the Virtual Casino category, and he even mixed in some gaming content. Notably, he dedicated a significant chunk of airtime to the launch of NBA 2K26.

#8 Timothy “TimTheTatman” Betar

2025 marked Timothy “TimTheTatman” Betar’s first full year back on Twitch. After his exclusive YouTube contract ended in mid-2024, the American streamer began broadcasting across multiple platforms simultaneously. As of this writing, his streams have racked up over 49.8 million hours watched, and it’s likely that by year’s end, that total will exceed 50 million hours.

TimTheTatman continues to be one of the most popular streamers in the shooter genre. He spent significant time streaming Battlefield 6, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and ARC Raiders, but his main focus this year was Marvel Rivals.

Tim kicked off the Battlefield 6 early-access period on day one, drawing huge viewership as players rushed to earn Twitch Drop keys. As one of the main creators consistently streaming the game, he dominated the week on Twitch — becoming both the most-watched channel and the top creator by peak viewers. Across that week, largely thanks to his Battlefield 6 streams, Tim generated 2.88 million Hours Watched.

Across all platforms, TimTheTatman emerged as the most-watched streamer for Marvel Rivals by a significant margin, with his Twitch and YouTube Gaming channels generating nearly 24 million hours watched for the game. He was even nominated for Best Marvel Rivals Streamer at the 2025 Streamer Awards, though the award ultimately went to his colleague, Flats.

#7 Case "CaseOh" Baker

Case "CaseOh" Baker made it onto our rankings again this year. While he dropped a few spots compared to last year, he still posted an impressive performance, with over 61.5 million hours watched on his Twitch streams.

CaseOh has long been a leader on Twitch when it comes to variety, and in 2025, his streams spanned over 246 different categories. His broadcasts consistently feature indie titles that rarely appear on other popular creators’ channels.

One standout game for CaseOh this year was the drug-dealer simulator Schedule I. The indie title went viral on Twitch, and Baker dedicated a significant amount of time streaming it.

CaseOh’s dedication didn’t go unnoticed — both his audience and fellow creators recognized his efforts. The American streamer took home two awards at the 2025 Streamer Awards: Gamer of the Year and Best Variety Streamer.

#6 Félix "xQc" Lengyel

Félix "xQc" Lengyel was the only Canadian streamer to crack our top 10 this year. He racked up roughly 65.7 million hours watched in 2025. By comparison, he held second place in 2024 with 79.2 million hours watched. Lengyel will likely inch closer to that total once the final data is updated in January.

As usual, xQc kept his audience entertained throughout 2025 with reactions to funny videos, commentary on industry news, celebrity scandals, and more. He also streamed plenty of gaming content, diving into new releases like ARC Raiders, Marvel Rivals, and Mario Kart World.

One of xQc’s standout streams in 2025 was a collaborative marathon with Adin Ross and MrBeast, where the trio tackled a series of live challenges to raise funds for the Team Water project.

#5 Hasan "HasanAbi" Piker

Hasan "HasanAbi" Piker once again landed in our year-end ranking, holding fifth place for the second year in a row. Notably, the American streamer improved slightly on his 2024 numbers, with his channel racking up 73.1 million hours watched as of now.

HasanAbi continues to be Twitch’s top political commentator, regularly covering breaking news in U.S. and global politics, scandals, conflicts, political statements, and more. In 2025, his most-popular stream focused on the murder of American political activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot in Utah.

HasanAbi streams almost every day. So far throughout 2025, he had only a handful of days off. Some breaks were due to temporary channel bans resulting from his controversial commentary on sensitive topics. With the constant stream of global news, there’s no question that HasanAbi will always have plenty to discuss with his audience during his broadcasts.

#4 Darren "IShowSpeed" Watkins Jr.

In 2024, Darren "IShowSpeed" Watkins Jr. ranked 10th among the most-watched streamers from the U.S. and Canada. By 2025, he had climbed to fourth place — an impressive leap given the fierce competition at the top. Compared to last year, IShowSpeed boosted his hours watched by 47%, and that total is expected to rise even further by the end of December.

All year long, IShowSpeed kept his audience hooked with epic IRL streams. He went on multiple travel tours, documenting trips across Latin America and Europe, streamed from China, and embarked on a month-long tour across U.S. cities. During his travels, he even returned to Twitch streaming, after being away from the platform for several years.

During his travels, IShowSpeed took part in a number of high-profile events. He attended the UEFA Champions League final, competed in a WWE show match, played in the Sidemen Charity Match alongside popular content creators, and joined a Charity Football Match featuring stars like Thierry Henry, Iniesta, and other football legends.

IShowSpeed didn’t forget about gaming content either. He hosted several marathon collab streams with Kai Cenat, playing games like the Super Mario Bros. series, Fortnite, and more. On his own, he streamed full playthroughs of Red Dead Redemption 2, both entries of The Last of Us, Monster Hunter, and other popular titles.

IShowSpeed’s hard work earned him well-deserved recognition. At the 2025 Streamer Awards, he won Best IRL Streamer and, for the second consecutive year, took home the top honor of Streamer of the Year.

#3 Nicholas "Jynxzi" Stewart

For several years running, Nicholas "Jynxzi" Stewart has cemented his status as one of the most popular streamers in the U.S. In this year’s ranking, he held onto third place, and his total hours watched grew to 83.3 million, with numbers still climbing. Today, Jynxzi is not only a trendsetter but also one of the platform’s leading figures.

In 2025, Jynxzi was highly active streaming Rainbow Six Siege and Clash Royale, becoming the most-watched streamer on Twitch in both categories. He extensively covered the release of Rainbow Six Siege X and spent many hours streaming Fortnite, Geometry Dash, and EA Sports FC 25.

One of the standout moments from Jynxzi’s 2025 streams was his “99–0 Challenges” marathon with xQc, Rani “StableRonaldo” Netz, and others. The challenge was simple: Jynxzi aimed to score 100 victories in Clash Royale before either xQc or StableRonaldo could win a single match. The streams were packed with memes, debates, and viral clips. In the end, xQc never managed to beat Jynxzi, while StableRonaldo, with some coaching support, finally claimed victory in the 90th match.

Jynxzi’s accomplishments in livestreaming were recognized at the 2025 Streamer Awards. His Clash Royale streams earned him the Best Strategy Game Streamer award. Notably, he won Best FPS Game Streamer last year, underscoring Stewart’s versatile talent across genres.

#2 Zack "zackrawrr" Hoyt

It’s hard to picture our ranking without Zack “zackrawrr” Hoyt (aka Asmongold), one of the most popular U.S. streamers and a longtime face of Twitch. In 2024, he ranked sixth, and this year he climbed to second place with an impressive 93.9 million hours watched. His total might have been even higher if Hoyt hadn’t taken a temporary break from streaming to care for his ill father.

Zackrawrr (Asmongold) continues to be one of Twitch’s most popular streamers, expertly balancing Just Chatting streams with gameplay covering nearly every major hype release. On his broadcasts, he frequently discusses industry news, weighs in on controversial statements and actions by fellow creators, breaks down scandals, and keeps his audience fully up to date on the latest in livestreaming.

On his channel, zackrawrr (Asmongold) frequently streams the latest game releases, often giving viewers a chance to earn Twitch Drops. He rarely sticks to a single game for long, effortlessly hopping between different titles and even genres.

A major milestone for zackrawrr in 2025 was his move to streaming on Kick. He now goes live there under his well-known name, Asmongold, and has already built a substantial local fan base.

#1 Kai Cenat

Without question, Kai Cenat was the standout star on Twitch in 2025. He remains a leader and the platform’s biggest star, holding multiple records, setting trends, and functioning as a true human brand. Kai doesn’t just create exciting streams and collabs — he’s reshaping the game for the entire industry.

In 2025, Kai Cenat made headlines dozens of times. He hosted a Minecraft Hardcore Marathon and a Super Mario Marathon with IShowSpeed, completed the full Batman Arkham series, organized the incredible Streamer University event, and streamed the AMP Summer Party alongside his friends.

The centerpiece of Kai Cenat’s 2025 was undoubtedly his legendary MAFIATHON 3.0, an epic around-the-clock marathon that lasted more than a month. He welcomed dozens of star guests, including Kim Kardashian, Ice Spice, Kevin Hart, and others. Linkin Park performed a short live concert on his channel, and NBA legend LeBron James gave basketball lessons and even styled a new haircut for Kai Cenat.

Thanks to MAFIATHON 3.0, Kai Cenat set multiple records: he became Twitch’s top creator for paid subscriptions and the first on the platform to surpass 20 million followers. He also broke his personal peak viewership record, drawing over 1 million concurrent viewers during the stream with LeBron James — coinciding with the final day of MAFIATHON 3.0.

Remarkably, Kai Cenat’s brand is so powerful that he remains Twitch’s most popular streamer, even without streaming a single session since MAFIATHON 3.0 ended. His last broadcast was on September 30, after which he went on vacation. Nearly three months off, yet Kai still dominates Twitch, far ahead of other U.S. streamers in total hours watched. Now that’s what being a legend looks like!

Top Canada streamers of 2025

As you may have noticed, the overall most-watched U.S. and Canadian streamers ranking included only one Canadian — xQc. Since we felt this list was a bit one-sided, we put together a separate top 10 specifically highlighting Canadian streamers.

XQc clearly dominates the Canadian top 10. He is the most popular Canadian streamer on Twitch and Kick, and by broadcasting on both platforms, he has almost twice the total hours watched compared to his closest Canadian competitor, Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek.

The list features several shooters and battle royale enthusiasts: in addition to Shroud, it includes Typical Gamer, Nicholas “Nick Eh 30” Amyoony, Ahmad “mooda” Hallal, Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, and Ryan “shanks_ttv” Ngo. Meanwhile, Artour “Arteezy” Babaev sticks to what he knows best, mainly streaming Dota 2, Ryan “Northernlion” Letourneau favors indie games, and Din “Agent00” Muktar made headlines in 2025 for his seven-day Elden Ring marathon with Emily “ExtraEmily” Zhang.
