The fourth quarter of 2023 was an interesting time for American streaming, with a few new names threatening the established ones in terms of watch time but eventually having to settle for a little less. The likes of Kai Cenat and Adin Ross continued to dominate their respective platforms, Twitch and Kick, while IShowSpeed managed to beat DrDisrespect to the top of the YouTube Gaming charts.
Coming to Rumble, it was Dan Bongino who continued to rule the roost, with the streaming service continuing to be a hub for politics and world news discussions. With that in mind, here are the most-watched content creators from this North American country for the last three months of the past year.
Most watched streamers from America — Q4 2023
At the top of this overall table is the unstoppable Kai Cenat, who also finished as the most-watched Twitch streamer for the entire year. His watch time of 25.5 million Hours Watched went up by 51% in the last quarter of 2023, with three videos from October entering his top five most watched of all time. Moreover, his December 14 livestream featuring rap star Nicki Minaj ended as his most popular one ever, beating the next-best by almost 14%.
Second is Adin Ross, perhaps the biggest name in Kick — and certainly its most vocal and visible content creator — today. Just Chatting was his most-watched genre, although he used the streaming service's more lenient rules to rack up healthy airtime in the Slots & Casino category. What did help were two live broadcasts on November 1 and October 5 that entered his top five most-viewed videos ever.
The last name in the top three is zackrawrr, the alternate channel of Asmongold, the co-owner of the popular content creation group One True King. He also enjoyed a fruitful Q4, seeing three live streams make his top five most ever, including the November 3 coverage of BlizzCon 2023 that became his most successful of all time. This period also saw him return to playing a lot of World of Warcraft, apart from his preferred habit of discussing matters around the gaming and streaming spheres with his viewers.
N3on is the next name and second Kick representative here, thanks to his 14.90M HW that mainly consisted of Just Chatting and Slots & Casino content. He is perhaps the entrant with the most successful fourth quarter by the sheer number of successful live broadcasts, with most of his channel records coming in this phase to truly signal him as a platform superstar.
Jynxzi is fifth among streamers with the most watch time in Q4 2023, with the calendar year itself being highly successful for the content creator. His December 6 stream covering the new season — Year 8 Season 4: Operation Deep Freeze — of his favorite game Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege and its new map became his most watched ever.
Popular current events commentator HasanAbi heads the bottom five of this top ten list thanks to accruing 13.46M HW. The Just Chatting specialist may not hit the numerical highs with his live broadcasts as he did during the pandemic era, but he remains one of the most desirable voices in his field across all streaming platforms.
Summit1g, the former CS:GO pro, follows with 10.80M HW thanks to playing a lot of Grand Theft Auto V, which also turned out to be most favorite game last year. In fact, he has returned to playing a lot of role-playing servers, including Prodigy RP, and a return to his popular alter ego, Charles Johnson, in the latest 4.0 version of the NoPixel server.
In eighth and ninth are the two YouTube representatives on this table: The Pat McAfee Show and Pure Relaxing Vibes. The former is the podcast run by the American sports analyst, professional wrestling color commentator, former football punter, and kickoff specialist. The latter is a music channel run by a filmmaker and sound artist who creates unique and pure relaxing videos that especially help get good sleep.
Last but not least is Clix, the Fortnite pro for XSET, who also creates content on the game. With the game's successful season update bringing back the nostalgia during the fourth quarter of 2023, the American was busy playing and checking out the old haunts of OG players like himself. This also made him one of the most popular Twitch channels during the builder-shooter's major live event — The Big Bang — on December 2.
Most watched Twitch streamers from America — Q4 2023
The first new name on this leaderboard is k3soju, the Teamfight Tactics pro who turns out for Disguised. He is another who had one of his most successful live streams occur during the period in question, with his October 29 video — covering the — becoming his most popular ever. He had participated in this event as part of Cloud9's roster, finishing sixth.
Next is caseoh_, another online star who has had a great 2023, making the most of his time on screen to cultivate a loyal fanbase and emerge as one to watch out for in the new year. The R6 collab stream where he defeated Kai Cenat (who was coached by Jynxzi) became his most popular ever and finished second on the HW and AV tables.
LIRIK and sodapoppin are the last two names here, with their content varying across genres and categories. The former remains one of the most balanced content creators, almost always splitting his time equally between IRl and gaming content. The latter, meanwhile, saw a few of his live broadcasts from these three months become some of his most watched and popular.
Most watched YouTube Gaming streamers from America — Q4 2023
Young sensation IShowSpeed topped the YouTube gaming streamers chart with 7.90M HW. A significant portion of this number was aggregated by spending time in the Entertainment genre, with the holder of the most popular English-language broadcast last year attending quite a few events, including the Ballon d'Or 2023 awards ceremony.
Industry legend DrDisRespect had to be content with second place this time, with a lot of this time spent playing a game from his favorite franchise. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III was released in November 2023, and the internet personality's pre-release and launch day live streams became some of his most viewed ever. However, the title's Twitch stats left a lot to be desired compared to the hype it generated.
Third is TimTheTatman, another veteran who has become so synonymous with content creation and online entertainment that he has surpassed the field in many ways. He was another to jump on the Fortnite bandwagon, with its release and final day event becoming his third-most-watched and most popular live broadcasts, respectively.
Ludwig comes in the fourth spot, with his content revolving a lot around Wassermelonenspiel, an addictive mini-game released in 2021. Moreover, the Creator Dodgeball World Championship, his first event since signing a new contract with YouTube, finished as one of his most popular ever by both peak and average concurrent viewers.
Rounding off the top five is Valkyrae, the only female from the top two streaming brands and someone who has carved out a niche space for herself in the sphere. Grand Theft Auto V and Valorant were some of her most preferred games, with her gameplay videos in the latter helping her become one of the three names on this table to gain followers (read: subscribers) between October and December.
The internet's most lovable content creator, Sykkuno, is next with 2.75M HW. He continues to play a lot of Grand Theft Auto V (its role-playing servers, to be more exact), with his return to NoPixel in its 4.0 update with a character called Yuno Sykk being a significant talking point among fans of the game.
Seventh is Swagg, with his gameplay of Call of Duty: Warzone being a big hit among his followers. Moreover, his live gameplays of the aforementioned COD: MWIII became some of his most successful, entering the top lists for both watch time and peak viewership.
The unstoppable Ninja is next, with his decision to sign with Kick, thus enabling him to stream on multiple platforms at once, paying off handsomely. His ability to now appear live on YouTube without hindrances attracted many viewers, including his faithful followers from Twitch, and ensured he saw the most growth in his channel figures, including subscribers, among the top ten listed here.
CouRage is ninth, having been another to play a lot of Fortnite during its OG season days, although he is also known for his association with titles like COD and Halo. KreekCraft rounds off this standing as the only one not to hit 2M HW, although he is known for his love of Roblox and videos related to playthroughs of the multiple games within this universe.
Most watched Kick streamers from America — Q4 2023
ac7ionman is in third with 5.41M HW, with his continued emphasis on viewer interactions and streaming marathons helping him climb up a spot from the quarter three ranking. Unsurprisingly, his favorite genre was Just Chatting, although, like many on this platform, he was quite busy in the contentious Slots & Casino segment.
yourrage and iceposeidon are fourth and fifth, respectively, with the latte actually falling down two places from the Q3 list. Having gotten in quite a lot of trouble during the third quarter, it seemed like he took it a lot easier during the next three months. Meanwhile, the former, who joined Kick in mid-August, continued his march toward becoming one of its most renowned names.
Amouranth and jenfoxxx, undoubtedly the most sought-after females on the platform, were sixth and eighth, although their content evolved to add more gaming time to their streams. The former also concentrated a lot on the Fitness and Health and Body Art genres, while her rival gave Diablo IV a lot of her attention.
The last three names — Jack Doherty, nickmercs, and cheesur — played a lot of games, including Apex Legends and Fortnite. However, the first name exclusively stuck to the Just Chatting genre, while the second one is one of the most well-known names in the industry from his time on Twitch.
Most watched Rumble streamers from America — Q4 2023
Dan Bongino is the leader here in lieu of his two channels, The Dan Bongino Show and bongino, which combined to give him over 7M HW. Even if they were taken as separate entities, both would still have finished inside the top three on this leaderboard, proving just how popular this conservative political commentator is on the green streaming service.
Steven Crowder and sneako are second and third and the only other entries to cross the 2M HW mark. The former is an American-Canadian conservative political commentator, comedian, and media host, while the latter continues to post gaming content and collaboration videos with his colleagues.
Ricegum and Charlie Kirk are the next two entrants, with the former — another IRL content creator — falling two places from the Q3 rankings. The latter, meanwhile, is a conservative activist and radio talk show host who is also the Founder and Executive Director of Turning Point USA, a national student movement aiming to use young people to promote the principles of free markets and limited government.
The last five names are great examples of the prevailing discourse of Rumble, as the majority of their live streams center on conversations about world politics, celebrities, religion, the legal and justice systems, and scandals. Interestingly, akademiks is the handle of DJ Akademiks, who rose to prominence for covering news in the music industry — especially hip hop — and is now an established podcaster and internet personality.
